Exhibition TOUR

Every year, the Print Exchange collection goes on tour across the country and abroad. Print workshops or galleries host the exhibition, giving more people the chance to see the art and learn about printmaking. 

From each edition, the print numbered 1/25 is set aside during sorting. These prints make up the touring exhibition, showcasing the complete collection each year. All prints are scanned and available to view in the website’s online gallery, so anyone can see them even if they can't visit in person. 

The touring process is like Pass the Parcel—each studio displays the collection, then packs it up and sends it to the next venue. If all goes well Hot Bed Press will only be in possession of the print collection at the beginning and at the end of the Exchange year! 

The exhibition showcases many types of prints, techniques, and subjects. It highlights the variety and creativity in printmaking, as well as regional and national styles and trends.
